Melinda is a Connecticut native who has lived all over the country, honing in on her design style as she moves and grows. She began her design career studying at Indiana University where she received her degree in Interior Design, with Honors. Melinda’s love for timeless designs can be attributed to her formative years in New England, where she fell for classic elements of colonial styled homes. Living in Manhattan, Melinda was inspired to bring traditional styles to life with more modern patterns and textures. Her time in Colorado emphasized her love for the outdoors and using both natural materials and colors found in nature. Settling in North Carolina, now married with a toddler, Melinda recognizes the importance of optimizing space and the use of performance fabrics to make all spaces in a home truly livable.
Melinda spends her downtime in the company of her husband, their daughter, and their mini labradoodle, Wilson. When not working, she can be found trying new restaurants with her husband, having dance parties with her daughter, sharing wine with friends, and traveling to the beach, the ski slopes, or a new country whenever she gets the chance.
